There's a few problems here and there, but hopefully they're ironed out with patches up until the final release. Looking forward to more updates! Here's a showcase of the different characters available.https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uhlm_xR7uM4. Tzompantli definitely caught me by surprise. From the uncatchy title to the bizarre character selection I didnt know what I was getting myself into purchasing this game. I heard nothing of this games existance nor did I have any knowledge of the source material, but somehow I found this game strangely entertainig. The balancing of character is a little off, with some characters having extremly fast normals with huge priority, while characters like Juan Grande have the slowest attacks in the game. Speaking of Juan at first play I thought he was trash, his normals are slow, his specials leave him at a disadvantage, but after finding out he could transform into a magical dog and destroy characters in seconds I was pleasantly surprised. All of the characters are pretty diverse, with the exception of there being too many demon type characters that just fly around. The graphics have a cell shaded look to them, with character models having a surprising amount of detail, but the backgrounds are missing something. One background in particular stands out as being odd. It is an empty desert back drop, but periodically a bunch of trees drives by... yes drives by. Then at one point the trees drive directly towards the camera and now you're in a jungle. I don't know if this is a glitch or intended but its very strange, my roommate walked in just as this was happening and I had no way of explaining to him what had just transpired. Despite all the weird stuff, I highly enjoy this game. lots of infinite combos, and loops but its different. The camera could stand to be a little less shaky but its still early so I'm sure all of these issues will be fixed in the future. Hopefully. I cannot in good conscience reccomend this game at its current point in development. Hopefully one day the issues will be fixed and it will be more playable. until then...Pro:Interesting art styleCrazy character designBased off of graphic novelsNice ConceptAn attempt at making fast paced fighter like ArcSys gamesNeut:Relatively simpleVoice acting existsMusic existsStory mode included (no English yet)Con:Lack of balance (!!!!!)Clunky animations (^!)Menu soundsSome effects are way to busy, strains eyes. Buen juego, todav\u00eda le hace falta trabajar las animaciones, modelos y mec\u00e1nicas pero tiene mucho potencial y puede llegar a ser un gran juego de peleas.. Wow this game has some flaws but makes up for them in spades with style. If you are a fan of fighting games try something werid and different and play TZOMPANTLI!
